CompTIA A+ Special Information
Getting CompTIA A+ certified requires you to pass TWO exams: 220-1001 & 220-1002. A CompTIA A+ voucher is good for ONE exam. Functionally, this means you have to purchase a voucher for each exam. You can buy the two vouchers at the same time or at different times.
How to Use a Voucher
Here are the steps to use a voucher to pay for a CompTIA exam.
- You will receive an e-mail message containing the voucher number. (The number is important!)
- Register for an exam with Pearson VUE.
- When requested to pay for the exam, select option to use voucher number rather than credit card.
Order Process
After completing your purchase, you will receive:
- E-mail message confirming the order
- A second e-mail message containing your voucher number, sent during normal business hours. Vouchers are not downloaded.
CompTIA Online Testing
- Online testing, with remote proctoring, enables you to take a CompTIA exam whenever and wherever you choose.
