Problem: I am running Windows Vista/7 and when I run the installer, I get an error message.
Fix: With older versions of the Total Tester, there was a problem with UAC system on Windows Vista/7. To get around this, right click on the install file and select “Run as administrator” from the menu. If you are still having problems installing, please fill out a support request or give us a call at 1-800-446-6004.
Problem: I have installed and started Total Tester but how do I take a test?
Fix: Total Tester versions prior to version 6 (Released summer 2012) used two drop down menus to operate the software, both located in the upper left of the application. To select a certification to study, select it from the Suite menu. Once you have select a suite, open the Exam menu and select any of the exams in the list.
The list is divided into two parts, practice and final exams. The only difference between the two is that practice exams allow you to use the assistance to help you when you get to difficult questions.
Problem: I have found a problem with a question (typo, incorrect, formatting, etc…), how do I let Total Seminars know?
Fix: Problem question do sneak in from time to time, if you think you have found one please fill out a support request with the problem question and a description of the error.
Please include the question number if you can. The number is located just above the next button in the lower right hand side of the Total Tester. See the screenshot below.
